Apple Salad & Dressing


   1      or 2          apples -- cut into 1/2" dice
   1                      banana -- sliced
          few           seedless grapes -- cut in half
   1  -2                stalks of celery -- chopped
   3/4  -1  cup     walnuts -- chopped
   1      small can  crushed pineapple
   1/2  cup           sugar
   1      tablespoon  flour
   1/2  cup           pineapple juice
   1/4  cup           water
   2                     eggs -- beaten
   8      ounces     Cool Whip®

     Chop fruit into desired pieces.  Heat dressing (sugar, flour, pineapple juice, water & 2 beaten eggs) over medium heat until thick. Cool.  Fold in 1/2 carton of  Cool Whip, & add mixture to chopped up fruit.

                   Serving Ideas : Chill at least a couple of hours before serving.

NOTES : Best if eaten up within a couple of days.
