Easy Baked Beans

This is not really a Mexican Recipe its a recipe for Gringos living in Mexico.

If you are like me you love baked beans.  But what is so simple to find in the US or even England is so difficult in this land of so many beans. 

Take 2 Cans of Frijoles Bayos Enteros
Drain them reserving the liquid
Add ½ cup of Ketchup to the beans
Add ¼ cup of Brown Sugar
Add ½ cup of the reserved liquid
If you have it add 1 Tablespoon of Molasses
A bit of mustard… (just a short squirt)

Mix well,  and place in an ovenproof dish,  put a few slices of bacon on top and place in the oven for 1 hour at 350… Best if you stir them up about 45 minutes into the baking.
