Tangy Pork Chops

This is an outstanding recipe. It won first place in a contest in 'Taste of Home" magazine.  This is my favorite pork chop recipe. 

    4 pork chops ( I recommend 6)
    1/2 Teas. Salt (optional)
    1/8 Teas. Pepper
    2 Medium Onions Chopped
    2 Celery Ribs Chopped
    1 green Pepper Chopped
    1 Can Stewed Tomatoes (14 oz.)
    1/2 Cup Ketchup
    2 Tabs Cider Vinegar
    2 Tabs Brown Sugar
    2 Tabs Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tab Lemon Juice
    1 Beef bouillon cube
    2 Tabs Cornstarch
    2 Tabs Water

Place chops in slow cooker, sprinkle with salt if desired add the onions, celery, green pepper and tomatoes.  Combine ketchup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and bouillon.  Pour over Veggies.  Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.   Mix cornstarch and water until smooth, add to slow cooker.  Put on high and cook for 30 minutes more or until thickened.  Can be served over rice or with Mashed Potatoes, lots of sauce for gravy.
